Thank you so much for coming to check out my letter! Below you’ll find general likes, ship- and fandom-specific likes, and my DNWs. While some things have more bullet points than others, I’d be delighted to receive a fic about any one of them. Much of the rambling got kind of long; I tried to talk a bit about each dynamic I requested, so that even if I didn’t have prompts (or if none of the prompts hit right) you’d have a jumping-off point. Thank you again, and I hope this is helpful to you!!
For most of my prompts I’ve only requested fic; for treats I also opt into art, moodboards, and web weaves.
DNW

AU: omegaverse | soulmates | coffee shop or other retail/food service AUs | royalty AUs | dark! AUs of the sort popular with SBI | movie AUs (ie AUs in which you take the characters, map them onto characters in a different franchise, and have them act out the plot; setting AUs are fine) | historical AUs without period-typical sexism and homophobia
NSFW: sex that anyone involved straightforwardly does not want or is not enjoying (dubcon they feel complicated about or are conflictedly into is fine) | serious bodily harm during sex | scat piss or other bodily fluids not typically associated with sex (blood is fine, crying is fine) | use of titles like sir or master | STIs | rimming or ass to mouth | vore | tearing or prolapse | breeding kink | foot-related kinks | necro | bestiality | humiliation | tickling | weight-related kinks | daddy or mommy kink (if you want to make it xianxia, gege is fine) | misgendering kink | sexual assault or sexual slavery being the good ending or a misunderstanding with nobody involved actually at fault | sexual assault portrayed as being for the victim’s own good | safewords other than “stop” | safe, sane, negotiated, healthy BDSM scenes
DSMP: Philza, Technoblade, or Tommyinnit (mentioned as part of requested character backstory is fine) | noncanon family dynamics, including SBI as family | possessive, “insane”, or “psycho” Wilbur | bad dad Phil | Puffy as anyone’s therapist, counselor, supportive helpful advice-giver, or mom | post-revival Wilbur killing himself again | hybrid headcanons (Schlatt having horns is fine) | genderbending such that Schlatt and Quackity are not the same gender (if they're both women that’s fine) | watchers | spanish pet names | duck-related pet names | abusive Wilbur | populated server or citizens | aspec Quackity, Jschlatt, or Wilbur | trans Wilbur | cis Fundy | red-eyed Wilbur
QSMP: Philza, Techno, or Tommyinnit | noncanon family dynamics other than Q and El being twins | hybrid headcanons | genderbending | watchers | spanish pet names | duck-related pet names | populated server or citizens for the QSMP canon setting | aspec Quackity or El | my general DNW says no children or parenting of children and I want to clarify that does still apply to the eggs
MDZS: depictions of the jianghu as non-bigoted (homophobic, transphobic, sexist, classist, whorephobic, etc) | any character other than Wangxian and Mo Xuanyu being openly queer (closeted characters are actively encouraged) | trans headcanons other than transfem WWX or MXY | cisswaps | badass chessmaster Nie Huaisang | using CQL/Untamed canon over MDZS where they diverge (second flautist, Xue Chonghai, Xue Yang working for the Wens, Lan Wangji as chief cultivator, etc) | fix-its | fluff without ominous foreshadowing
HWBM: genderbends | any HWBM character not being from the HWBM canon setting | trans Saturn, Iapetus, Halimede, or Europa | cis Luna-Terra, Pluto, Nyx, or Mercury

General likes
- I like when characters act the way that they do in canon. I know that’s kind of hard to define but— you know how a lot of this fandom likes AUs where the characters are essentially their OCs, likes to rescue characters from the canon, etc? That’s not my thing. I like the characters and relationships that you see in the streams. Some of my favorite fic takes specific dialogue lines from specific vods and can cite the conversation with timestamps.
- On that note, AUs that alt over specific events and dynamics; when character dynamics are recognizably kept, even in the new setting.
- If you’re writing something set on the canon SMP, I think it is literally always great to make it relevant that the fic takes place in a Minecraft roleplay. One of my favorite fics uses “Let’s break TOS” as a sexual proposition; another has plot-relevant Lore Voice, and makes it explicit that things Quackity says in his lore voice become true in a way that other things don’t. You can be serious about that— what is it like to live in a world where nobody can say the words abuse or suicide because they’ll get you dinged on Twitch?— but feel free to get silly with it too; if you’ve always wanted to canonize Quackity’s teenage misadventures raiding Club Penguin, now’s your chance!
- Subtext!!
- Character studies, relationship studies. Complicated, messy relationships, conflicts that can’t be resolved in one conversation, misunderstandings that don’t boil down to a single secret.
- Bittersweet endings, hopeful endings, complicated endings.
- Missing scenes
- Snapshots in time, one scene in a larger scale; open ambiguous endings where things don’t get resolved.
- Dramatic irony, fluff with ominous foreshadowing, “and then the rest of canon happened and we know how that went” endings.
- Unreliable narrators; not just ones who lie to the audience on purpose but also ones who are wrong about what’s going on, who lie to themselves and the reader by extension, who are wrong about their own feelings, who are wrong about what’s going on with other people, who make guesses and assumptions and whose assumptions aren’t always right. Tight POVs that narrate the character’s experience rather than the full truth of what’s going on.
- Gender; characters with issues and complexes about gender performance.
- Feelings and opinions about queerness; complicated relationships with desire, wanting things you know aren’t what you’re supposed to want; these things being tangled up in one another.
- Hermaneutic injustice; characters who don’t have a conceptual vocabulary for their experiences.
- Characters who don’t know what they want, who don’t admit to what they want, who want contradictory things
- Relationships that cross the streams, that are four different kinds of thing at once; people who are neither precisely dating nor precisely not; when one person is your mentor and your comrade-in-arms and your lover and your friend; when ‘what are we’ is a question without an answer. (This is NOT the same thing as depiction of QPRs which I very seldom find satisfying— I don’t want it to be Representation(TM).)
- Intense homoerotic teenage best friendships
- Relationships where all the communication is happening via subtext, whether because they won’t spit it out or because they can’t spit it out or because they don’t have to say things with their words to have them understood.
- Choices that aren’t, like, GOOD per se, but there isn’t a clear better choice, it’s just bad options all around.
- Proxy relationships and triangulation; when two people have a relationship that’s about the conspicuous absence of a third person. Conspicuous absences of a person in general but triangulation and proxy relationships tend to be where that really shines.
NSFW likes
- Everything is about sex, except for sex; sex is about misattributing quotes to Oscar Wilde. Is sex about power? About safety? About embodiment? About gender? About loyalty? About purity? About the lack of purity? About getting to want things? About getting to ask for things? About the conspicuous absence of a third party? About something else entirely?
- Non-penetrative sex; sex that doesn’t follow the Standard Sex Action Flowchart
- Characterizing kinks
- Kink that is not responsibly-negotiated healthy BDSM scenes
- Characters who have sex the same way they’d have a conversation, or sex scenes that aren’t mostly hot. Maybe it’s cute and giggly, maybe it’s tragic, maybe it’s just really awkward!
- First times; mapping out unfamiliar territory with someone else.
- Using sex as a tool: as a bargaining chip, as a distraction from questions you don’t want to answer, as a means of communication, as a way to get things (eg: affection, reassurance) that you feel like you can’t want or ask for directly.
- Complicated relationships with desire and vulnerability
- Experience gaps
- One character influencing another’s sexual preferences, whether that’s deliberate or just “I had a teenage crush and imprinted on you and now my kinks show it”
AU Likes
- AUs that alt over specific events and dynamics; when character dynamics are recognizably kept, even in the new setting.
- Magical girl AU
- Xianxia AU!
- I’m always down for celebrity (fucked up) and fame (complicated to bad)!
Art Likes
- Interesting and specific things with color
- Characterizing clothing choices; AUs where designs communicate a lot about a character (magical girl AUs are great for this!)
- Thick thighs and soft bodies and love handles
Fandom-specific likes + prompts
DSMP
Quackbur
- The messiest men in the messiest relationships you have ever seen in your entire life.
- Incongruous tenderness, despite everything else
- There’s no period of their relationship where Q isn’t cheating on someone; whether it’s escaping Schlatt or looking for connection while technically engaged, I’m interested in that
- To be a total self-parody: Wilbur and Quackity and suicide; loving someone who wants to die, and the particular way that it fucks you up to have made yourself responsible for your partner not dying, both while it’s happening and after it’s over. My first vod in this fandom was Quackity fleeing Manburg and IMMEDIATELY reorienting his whole life around preventing Wilbur’s downward spiral; I will never be over Pogtopia and I will never be over Q in LN still not being over Pogtopia. Come be not over it with me!
- Relationships with masculinity (complicated to bad)
- Masochist Wilbur; non-masochist Quackity
- Severely mentally ill Wilbur; Wilbur who sucks to be in a relationship with because he’s in a terrifying amount of pain and has no idea how to handle it; Wilbur whose decisions are mostly a frantic attempt to prove a point to himself
- Dead serious fic of the vore stream
- Genderbends! Both of these guys have such fascinating derangements about gender and I love playing with that. Cis girl Wilbur who wants to be the secret princess of the moon kingdom the way that canon Wilbur wants to be president is maybe the best take I ever had. Q with as complicated and ambivalent a relationship with femininity as canon Quackity has with masculinity.
- Setting change AUs— this is THE fandom for setting change AUs, for me.
- But I also love the DSMP canon setting! Whether it’s Pogtopia and trying to keep things together, or Las Nevadas and burger arc derangement, I love these guys.
Schlackity
Likes:
- Extremely fraught relationships with gender and masculinity
- Extremely fraught relationships with queerness, their own and each other’s
- Chronic pain; complicated relationships with one’s own body and how it functions or doesn’t
- Power dynamics, the more fucky the better
- Setting change AUs based on the above!
— Some examples I’ve loved: cyberpunk AU where Schlatt owns Quackity’s body mods; AU where Schlatt knows the details of the time travel/parallel universe setup and Q doesn’t but is desperate to find out; gymnastics AU where Schlatt is Quackity’s coach featuring gymnastics-typical horrors
- Quackity being down BAD and making extremely questionable choices about it; Quackity being desperate for Schlatt’s attention and approval generally
- That “do I want to fuck you or do I want to be you” type beat
- Relationships that cross the streams; Schlatt being Quackity’s mentor and lover and boss all at once and it being messy and bad
Q/Fundy
I think it’s really fun how Fundy is the only person in Las Nevadas who Quackity actually meaningfully threatens. I think it’s fun that Fundy was there during the Manburg cabinet when Q was acquiring his issues about Schlatt, and now he’s here again now that Q is imitating Schlatt. I think it’s fun that Fundy has a bunch of daddy issues which he projects onto Schlatt and now Q is imitating Schlatt! I think it’s fun that Fundy is canonically a trans guy and Quackity is constantly overcompensating about masculinity, and now Q is specifically emulating their abuser who had a whole Thing about being a Real Man, and Fundy not being. And I think it’s INCREDIBLY fun that in Las Nevadas Fundy is wearing Quackity’s clothes.
Likes:
- Manburg cabinet shared trauma
- Both of them having lots of feelings about Schlatt but in different directions
- Quackity having chronic pain which he self medicates with alcohol just like Schlatt did
- Alcohol generally
- Both of them having just unbelievable quantities of issues about Schlatt and gender and power and each other and it being messy and bad.

El/Quackity
Likes:
- Quackity’s desperation to be liked and approved of (and how this makes him very easy to take advantage of)
- El being an obsessive freak about Q
- But also El being a person with something it’s like to be him! Even if you go canon-QSMP and the federation created him, I want him to be a full human being with a human psychology and not just an evil construct.
- Twincest or clonecest; all the fucked-up codependent ‘you’re the only one who could ever understand me’ your heart desires
- Fucked up unhealthy relationship codependency.
- SETTING CHANGE AUS
— Modern AU where they’re codependent twins?
— Cyberpunk AU where El is a cyborg clone meant to kill and replace Q but somewhere in the process of living with all the same body mods as Quackity has he got a little too attached?
— Mecha pilot AU about family and patriarchy where an incestuous relationship is a literal weapon of empire a la Helicopter Story?
— Xianxia AU where they’re disciples in the same sect who look eerily similar and even as Q does love his shidi he can’t help but feel like something’s gone wrong?
- Dubcon. El frogboiling Q into a relationship; El frogboiling Q into other things.
Crossover fandom
Quackity in MDZS
So you know how MDZS is a book about cycles? About becoming the thing that hurt you and perpetuating the thing that hurt you? About the futility of revenge? About how genuine queer love and connection is not enough to save you even as it's one of the only things that can?
Put Quackity in there. Whether it’s an AU where he’s always been in the MDZS setting or whether he got isekai’d in, he deserves it. He’d have a terrible time. But I’d have a great one!
Likes:
- Quackity in the Jinlintai necromancy black ops, while Xue Yang and Mo Xuanyu are at Koi Tower. Think Villainous Friends era.
— Jin Guangyao in an iron closet
— JGY sleeping with Quackity as a proxy for xiyao, Su She sleeping with Quackity as a proxy for suyao
— Transfem Mo Xuanyu; MXY sleeping with Quackity because they have zero (0) actual queer role models and keep trying to put people in that role who really are not suited for it
— Xue Yang hanging around being generally a menace
- Quackity at the rebuilding of Lotus Pier, in and among Jiang Cheng’s crusade against demonic cultivators who may or may not be Wei Wuxian
— Jiang Cheng sleeping with Quackity as a proxy for Chengxian
- Proxyfucking in full generality tbqh
- Political maneuvering
- A bunch of guys who are NOT escaping the cycle.
I explicitly opt into MDZS-typical content, including but not limited to: homophobic abuse of Mo Xuanyu, suicide both WWX’s and MXY’s, Madame Jin’s abuse of JGY, A-Song’s death, and literally everything 3zun has ever done. However, please keep the actual torture and genocide offscreen.
Quackity & Saturn
These two kids and hunger and remaking yourself to prove a point. The impulse to repeatedly throw yourself against walls; fighting forever with perfect greed, past the point where you get what you want, never satisfied and never satisfiable. Art that draws parallels between them, or a web weave highlighting their similarities, or a fic about Q in Celestial Mechanics and how these two might have interacted, would all be very fun.
